I commend Floyd! He stood firm on his stance. He is what's right with boxing.

Look, floyd shot his credibility in the foot during the RA interview. He implied that manny pacquiao cheated to get to his spot and that the country of the philippines has the best performance enhancing drugs.

    He ruined it.

That has nothing to do w/ Pac not agreeing to PBF's demand.

  3. Let's see, who has a track record of coming in overweight. Hmmm, oh that's right; it's Floyd! Came in overweight for the Marquez fight. How could I forget!

Who has a history of drug use? Hmmm, Floyd doesn't; neither does Manny. Wait a minute, there is someone else... Floyd Sr. is a convicted drug trafficker! Maybe he slipped junior a mickey finn!!

As much as this has frustrated me as a fan of boxing, I respect Floyd's unwillingness to completely give in. I figured Mayweather would cave in to Pacquiao's demands as Floyd seems money hungry, but he stuck to his guns and I have to respect that. It's kind of scary that people are attempting to defend Pacquiao allegedly using PEDs and pretending that refusing random blood tests are not suspicious. Trying to put all of the blame on Floyd and attempting to say that Manny doesn't look bad in this is both classless and sad. I couldn't respect myself as a man or a human being if I was defending an alleged cheater who could do serious harm to someone because they might be using something illegal. I value and respect human life and as much as I love Boxing, I wouldn't want anyone to face that kind of danger. Pacquiao "fans" seem to be a little different.

That's EXACTLY the point. Pac has NOTHING to worry about from a blood test. NOTHING. NOTHING!

Yet he turns down what could be one of the most LUCRATIVE fights in boxing history over something that he has nothing to fear about...:blood

Why would he do that? Do you see how absurd that is?

mosley may be a real fighter but he's been proven to use drugs. pac has not been proven yet. i guess you believe in guilty until proven innocent, and not innocent until proven guilty.

Name one fight where a boxer asked for an 8-figure penalty for coming in overweight? NSAC already fines fighters for coming in overweight...

  9. They are BOTH absurd. Floyd for demanding a ridiculous stipulation. Manny for not agreeing to said stipulation. Believe me, I wish Manny would accept as much as you. I also wish Floyd would drop it. They're both as stubborn as a mule.

    Judah-Mosley.

Apparently, Abraham and his opponents also do Olympic style testing in Germany.

PBF has no reason to drop it, just like Pac has no reason not accept it.

If PBF threw the fight away by not agreeing to the $10m penalty, even though he KNEW he wouldn't come in overweight, would you say that Manny is being unfair for not removing his demand from the table? No. Why would he throw the fight away if he knows he's not coming in overweight?

If Pac knows he's clean, why would he throw the fight away over taking a test he knows he's going to pass?
