    Surely this must be an "exhibition" fight.Hatton couldn't even provide reasonable sparring for Gayweather.

    It doesn't say Arum lied at all, it just says that his statement could have been misleading. Arum basically said that everyone felt the concession Top Rank offerred was "fair" and the mediator is simply saying he proferred no opinion, and no recommendation to a "best solution".

    He's just getting the record straight because Arum wasn't especially specific.

    The last part's the most relevant, and is basically what Arum said: they didn't get a solution that everyone was happy with.
