all the statement says is that there is no official acceptance or rejection of any offers that were made by either party. im assuming (from what ive read on this thread), that arum claimed team mayweather rejected all offers. i havent yet read arums statement so i dont know if this is correct as far as the statement goes. it also doesnt say that all reports in the media were false, just some.

 

So he's basically saying it WAS NOT HIS PROPOSAL that floyd rejected COZ HE NEVER ISSUED ANY. HE WAS JUST A REFEREE BETWEEN TWO CAMPS.

This statement is being made by an entirely neutral individual - a retired federal judge, no less. It says a lot about you that you'd believe someone without any connection to this sport is going to risk his reputation to lie about something that he has nothing to do with.

 

there are two lies here:

1. mayweather did not accept the offer and did not even care to counter with another deadline- But we aren't sure yet coz the statement saying 14 days hasn't been confirmed yet, it was titles press release and did not even have floyd's name on it. I'm gonna wait for the GBP statement

2. Manny wants Foreman - absolute lie but thank god they were lying coz no one wants to see this fight anyway. its always like that when you negotiate, find someone whom you say you are interested to fight in case the one you're negotiating with backs up. remember DLH saying he will fight sergio mora if manny does not agree to the purse split and manny countering he will fight soto or valero. Its a tactic that's as old as boxing itself

Arum is now saying Pac was offered the 14 day rule on Jan 1st which he refused. He then approached Schafer for a bout with Marquez but he also wanted a 50/50 split (which is nonsense) and the same blood testing Floyd demanded.

Schaefer also says if he wants a fight with Mosley, then same rules apply.

Pac will retire after Clottey, that's my bet.

Arum has talked more sh!t than anybody during these negotiations.

pacquaio has to start talking for himself, but he said he would be making no more statements.

Pacquaio's team have contradicted themselves so many times, it looks like it's all on them and Arum.

They are looking more guilty by the minute, regardless of principle, if your clean then ****ing prove it and put this sh!t to rest.
