He didn't fight Margarito because he wanted a guaranteed shot at Cotto after for more money (Margo and Cotto and Floyd were all under Arum at the time). Arum offered him Cotto for LESS money than he would make for fighting Margorito, when Cotto was the champ. Floyd called bull****, bought out his contract, and fought Baldomir for the belt and the same 8 million he would have made fighting Margarito. If Arum wasn't such a slimey **** and had actually given Floyd fair money and a fair shot at Cotto after Margarito you might have seen that fight. Instead Floyd ****ed Arum and picked up a strap and 8 million for beating a jobber in Baldomir. I can't say I would have picked differently, personally, given that particular set of circumstances.

if this is true i change my tune about the whole mess and it would really seam to be PAC that doesnt want this fight. As most of you have said, 14 days is completely reasonable. Im sure if a poll was made it would reflect that.
