Mosley wasn't hurt. It looked more like he was off balance, getting hit with a good shot while missing with a wild shot. great fight though!
You guys should know this. The punch landed on the chin and totally twisted Mosleys head. This causes one to be off balanced and fall because the brain is wobbled. This is how knockouts and knockdowns happen. Mosley wasn't off balance before the punch, he was off balance because oscar just jacked that chin
I think people are missing the point because they think you're trying to angle it towards saying Mosley didn't win that fight rather than realizing your just pointing out a shot in the fight some fans didn't catch (which is weird to me because its one of the bigger moments in the fight).
I know what causes a fighter to get dropped. If one is wobbled it's because they are hurt, their brain is rattling around. Im being honest, Mosley didn't look like he was wobbled from that shot and was going down. It looked like he took the shot well, but still he got hit as he was throwing a wild shot that missed, causing him to momentarily lose his balance. But, whatever it was a good shot, good round, good fight that Mosley clearly won. Just to let you know I thought Oscar was robbed in the rematch.
When mosley got hit he was punching as well.......his momentum threw him off balance. If your trying to say mosley was hurt or staggard in anyway your nuts.
You're reaching. That was more balance than anything.Mosley wasn't hurt at all IMO. This however was a very good, entertaining fight but I thught Mosley won it clearly. de la Hoya fought to one dimensional unlike the second fight.
Watch Mosley's head twist as the punch connects. Mosley's balance was fine until that knocked him back and caused him to take a step to the side to keep his balance. Sure he wasn't hurt and collected himself very well. Fuk, even Lampley just said he was wobbled from the left. Reachin my ass, open you eyes.
You're an idiot if you think that was his punching momentum. Wow I guess Mosley had a couple shots of whiskey before the fight
Yea pretty nuts. Let's take a deeper look. Oscar is known for his patented left hook. Oscar landed that left hook right on mosley's chin. Mosley takes a step back but then magically steps to the side to keep his balance, right after Oscar lands that left hook that have sealed so many opponents fate before this. Verdict: Wobbled.
Nope, sorry, could watch it 100 times and still don't see him wobble or hurt. His head twisting from a punch or Lampley's cheerleading won't change my opinion either.
Oh, so you resort to insults. You're upset cuz people are not agreeing with you? I'm not going to insult you, just check it. You do not see Mosley attempt a wild right to Oscars body right after he got nailed with the left? It was a combination of Mosley taking a good shot and him missing with that wild one. That's what caused him to lose balance and take a step to the side. That has always been my issue with Mosley, he tends to get a little wild with his shots at times. Wiskey gots nothing to do with it, fighters lose their balance quite often from throwing wild shots that miss the target. Yes, I heard Lampley yell with excitement when that occured, as did I. But after watching the fight over and over and the replays, I realized Mosley wasn't as hurt as I thought. Damn, haven't you ever reacted during a live fight thinking you just witnessed a fighter get hurt, only to later realize it wasn't as bad as you thought after seeing the replays? Oscar landed better shots in the 3rd around 40 seconds left. And another good shot from Oscar was in the 9th, midway through the round. All lefts. Just look at the replies you've recieved and tally them up, most disagree. And I'm an Idiot. You are obviously a die hard DLH fan that's all good, nothing wrong there. So I know you'll be stubborn and not want to see things for how they really are. Even though I was rooting for Oscar all the way in this fight (nothing against Mosley), I was man enough to admit he lost a close fight. Now the rematch is another story, Oscar was robbed. He clearly beat a roided out Mosley. Peace
