Damn. Stoke the lowest scoring home team bar three in the PL . . . I stick a small amount on a low scoring game and they bang in 3!

That was an episode of grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory to match England in Adelaide.

The Aussies did really well to fight back, it was a brilliant innings from Hussey..... but he was certainly helped by some seriously ordinary captaincy/field settings.

I'm not really an advocate of allowing the batsman a single unless the tailender is someone really **** like Courtney Walsh - if it's someone like Siddle he is well capable of hanging around, you are best off setting normal fields to try and get either of them out.

This notwithstanding, they ought to have been able to chase down that total, the openers made a steady-ish start, and the one guy in the middle that applied himself got to 49 before a brain explosion slogging wildly.

The pitch wasn't the flattest ever, but still, it wasn't giving them nightmares.

1/2 that Collingwood makes less than 62.5 in his current innings.

Does that pay if he is less than 62.5 at the close of play but unbeaten?

    Looks a great shout.

    . . .he's currently on 32 with 28 overs to be bowled.

Bets like that have paid for me previously, but each bookie will be different I'd guess.

11/10 for Ted Hanky tonight seems like a decent price.

Also Wagner on the plus2.5 handicap seems good value

Put on a $10 multi last night.

    Man C/Blackburn 2.5 goals +
    Aston Villa to beat Wigan
    Tottenham to beat Liverpool
Gold Coast United to beat Adelaide.

A $10 bet will get me back $282. Will prob have another bet later on before the weekends out.
