For me Manny is clearly superior in terms of skills and overall talent. He'll be an offensive machine over the slow moving Clotey. I'm just not sure Pac can break him over 12 rounds. Maybe I'm giving Joshua too much credit here but I think it'll be a long night for Pac. He'll likely win but it might take a lot out of him.

Because I'm right you *****, and I will be proved 100% right if this fight happens.

Maybe, but I doubt it. I think Manny wins too but this is far from an easy fight.

Bollocks it will. It will be easier than the Cotto fight for Pacquiao, because Clottey's fundamentals are not as good as Cotto's. Clottey is slow as ****, static, one-dimensional, basic. Cotto beat him with one eye, then Pacquiao owned Cotto big-time. Clottey's peek-a-boo defence is worth **** when the punches are too fast and coming from too many angles to anticipate them. It will be a horror show by the time the ref saves Clottey. Utter domination ahead.

That's exactly what 90% of people said about the Hatton fight and the Cotto fight. Learn the lesson dude. Unless Pac steps in with a fellow elite fighter like Mosley or Mayweather, he doesn't have tough fights anymore.

 I hope you're right man, I really do. I'd hate for this to be the fight where Pac takes one too many and is never the same again. I was at the Cotto - Clottey fight and I dont know, the dood just came off as really tough to me. My friends always say I never give my boy Pac enough credit, maybe it's true. I still think it'll be a tough one but we shall see.

Im my honest opinion, clottey's only chance is by stoppage. Now way he could win decision clottey being known for having low activity rate. Look at cotto fight he always rest for a moment then punch. He could have won had he been busier.

    Nah dawg...

I'm no Pac fan, but I will be one of the first to jump on anyone who thinks Pac would be taking the easy way out. Clottey may have his weaknesses, like stamina and workrate, but he is in no way tailor-made for Pac.

Not only would he have a decided size and strength advantage, but he has a very good defense... And once pac gets through that defense, he is probably not going to hurt Clottey very much. Pac will have to go the distance and he will have to spend a lot of energy outworking Clottey in doing so.

Pac by close, controversial, grueling UD

Clottey is an above average counter puncher and I see him being able to land some big blows and test Manny's chin early on in the fight. I think Manny wins either a late TKO or by decision as Clottey does tend to get tired late in fights and I expect him to even moreso against Pacquiao.

He is not slow as ****, either. Don't know what fights you were watching. He's not super active which is the main criticism of his offence but he is pretty efficient with his punches.

I'm a Mayweather fan and I'm buying this one if it happens. I hope Floyd steps up to the plate and takes on a tough opponent as well (that is, if Manny continues to be a slut and not agree to the 14 day cutoff).

I can't wait to come back to this thread after the horrendous beating Pac unleashes on this plodder.

He's probably not going to hurt Clottey very much?! :admin

Cotto knocked him down with a ****ing jab!! Pac will brutalize him via a hailstorm of accumulation.

Never before in history can I remember a fighter gaining such respect and overrating from such an inept and flawed performance as Joshua Clottey garnered from losing to a one-eyed Miguel Cotto. It's thoroughly bizarre!

Clottey is a good fighter with good technique. He's also a very big welter with a great chin. He's not really a plodder imo, he is sort of static though, but he has a a solid crab defense. He's a tough opponent. Pac should beat him though, if they do fight, I don't think it's happening though.

Obviously your knowledge of the sport doesn't go beyond what you see on mainstream media.

Clottey, in one of the judges minds, and a lot of other people's minds was a better fighter against Cotto. If this fight is made at 147, he will be much bigger (up above 160), stronger, and sturdier than the 145lb. Cotto that Pac fought.

Maybe you should be taking up another sport.

A slut? You're a stupid ****ing *****. I hope you enjoy Floyd's UD over Matthew Hatton while I enjoy Pacquiao absolutely spit-roasting Clottey's overrated ass.
