So if he does not want to abide by Floyd's request, then they should just sign to fight somebody else and both camps should stop jerking everybody around. I agree that he does not have to agree simply because it's not required by the NSAC. The innocent to proven guilty argument is nonsense because ALL athletes have to prove their innocence in respect to drug use. Just saying its not required is good enough.

 

at this point Pac has proven his innocence with respect to drug use to the same extent that Floyd, Cotto, Marquez, Hopkins, and all other fighters have.

He's taken and passed the same tests as they have.

what happens in negotiations is just heresay and speculation.

 

I'm amazed that people are actually against stricter and more detailed drug testing.

I'm all for it.

As long as all fighters are submitted to the same guidelines and the procudures cannot have a negative impact on any fighter's performance.

The NSAC should put their testing guidelines up to date, no doubt. Wether it starts with Pac-Mayweather is not the issue when it comes to ensuring that the sport is drug-free.

 

Like I said, Pac and Mayweather should be submitted to the same testing guidelines as everyone else. The testing should be the same across the board, for all fighters not just Pac and PBF.

 

Or maybe we should word it better and say, "EVERONE should be submitted to the same testing guidelines as Pac and PBF".

 

With Mayweather agreeing to take the same tests, there should be no problem in the 14 day cut off.

 

Pretty much. If you're clean and don't use any foreign substances then any fighter shouldn't be worried about more testing.

 

Unless he thinks the tests are just a ploy that his opponent is using to weaken him.
