give me a break. It's become obvious that Pacquiao weasled out of this fight as much as Mayweather at this point. Both of them behaved disgracefully throughout all of this.

Dan Rafael just said on FNF's that Clottey IS the opponent for Pacquiao. CONFIRMED. Rafael added that he was told by Todd DuBeoff directly that Top Rank WILL NOT entertain any further offers for a Mayweather fight. It's over.

This is just the pacquiao camps way of trying to squeeze floyd to take the deal as is- and not to think things will be easier down the road.

should manny fight clottey and win- and floyd fight m,hatton and win-= then i think this fight becomes even harder to make. at that point , pac could become a bigger draw than floyd, have more pulling power at the table- and demand 55 percent or 60 percent- cos he ll say-
"hey i ve fought the bigger names- the tougher guys, for more money. then was then- but this is now- and now im the clearer p4p 1 than i was at the beginning of 2010."

im afraid that this might happen and the fight will get further and further from happening as time goes on . not to mention the fact that manny could get beat by clottey.

Pacman did want to make the fight, his fight with Cotto is nearly one month ago and he was ready to fight Mayweather three months later, it's obvious he wants it.

I don't see that as a concession because they use 8oz gloves in welterweight fights. Besides, NSAC allows both glove sizes in their welterweight fights. To me, a concession made is when a fighter agrees to something that isn't required anyway.

i used to think they would agree to the 14 day cut off after they both take care of their next fight but now it looks like it will never happen, at least not as long as arum is his promoter.
