I'd love to see him fight Khan, but do you think that Mayweather wants to deal with Freddie Roach at all right now? Doubt it. The safe fight to lead up to the eventual ultra-fight is in Paulie.

Floyd needs the rounds(part of the reason I think he let Marquez stay in the fight, physically not on the cards). So waiting is essentially out of the question.

btw, Khan would get his head pounded in by Mayweather.

I don't see why people are saying that losing to Mayweather would ruin Khan's career. No one would hold it against him and he'd learn a lot more from it than fighting the likes of Salita and Kotelnik. Plus he'd make a load of money.

I think he's left Warren already.

Anyway they wouldn't put Khan up to 147 and I don't think Mayweather could get down.

You think Floyd should graduate from fighting a lightweight to a light welterweight all of a sudden? Gutsy.

Khan-vs-Malignaggi is not the worst match-up for either guy. I would watch that fight.

As for Floyd, I would be happy to see him fight anyone who is world class. And the fact is that if he wants to maintain any credibility then he simply must fight a world class opponent, or even his most fervent fans will question him!!

An embarrassing defeat to Mayweather would ruin Amir's opinion of himself!

Amir is no-where near ready for such an opponent, is he Mike?

Floyd is 33 next month and the chances of him ever fighting Khan are almost zero imo.

I'd watch that too! I'd side with Khan for the win, but Paulie's been showing that he's a decent opponent to go up against.

Can't wait for Khan's little bro to get in the game and see if he's going to bring some excitement to boxing. The more talent, the better.

ya know what, i dont think khan WOULD get smashed by mayweather... i think it would be a good fight because, in my opinion, if theres a fighter out there who can beat floyd, its a fighter who can throw 500 punches in a round and not let floyd breath. khan has faster hands than pacquiao in terms of punches per second and i think he has the frame to go up a few more weights, plus he has great footwork and range, but i think the time isnt right for khan!!!

khan would lose, but he wouldnt get 'smashed'!! maybe if he fought floyd, looked good but lost, it would benefit his career!!! :tong
