I know and this is why the testing that the NSAC does is right.

You can't test all athletes the same. A marathon runner and a shot putter are not the same. A swimmer is not the same as a boxer.

Pain is a huge factor in boxing and any painkillers should be considered PED's. If Mayweather used this drug for every fight in his career, he would never have been down. Thats why it's a PED.

You could say, given how Mayweather took an 8 count in the past, had he never used it, he may have been forced to quit in a fight since. Hypothetical, of course, but my point is related to how this drug may have enhanced his performances.

Not harder throughout the fight but it's instinctive to hold back when the pain gets unbearable. I thinkbits realistic to think that Mayweather would punch harder for a few rounds.

Who cares this fight will be so dam boring and I would rather see Pac Vs Clottey. I really dont care if this fight ever gets done, why does every mega fight have to be such a dam mess and half the time it doesnt live up. I really dont rate Clottey but I know hell put up a fight atleast...well when he comes out of his shell atleast.

It very well probably could, but if it isn't on the NSAC's banned list then it isn't illegal if he's fighting in Nevada.

Better question. Why didn't Floyd make Marquez go fthrough al this in his last fight? There is just as much evidence to suggest Marquez is a dope cheat as Manny! the answwer is Floyd is using all this as an excuse to avoid him. He's a cherrypicker.

  10. Who knows. Who cares. Pac is a ducker, Floyd is a ducker, whatever. It's over. Move on.

If his hand is that bad to where he needs pain killers for the pain after he lands the first punch all that pain will come back and those pain killers wont mean ****.

Indirect link (original story linked to in post at the following link):

    http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=121270151

Summary of what other story said: It turned out that ODLH took Lidocaine (AKA Xylocaine) during the lead-up to his fight with Hopkins. Lidocaine is banned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Some common drugs aren't "banned" for usage by the general public but they ARE banned for usage in athletic competition. Shannon Briggs, I think, got hit for using a perfectly legal asthma medication that is banned in boxing.

If PBF is using something to numb his hands during training (or for a fight, of course), that's a Performance-Enhancing Drug because it allows him to train in a way (harder, longer, more intensely) that he wouldn't be able to do otherwise. And, apparently, this drug is banned in boxing.

So, it seems, a guy who has apparently admitted to using a banned substance (at least banned for boxing in at least some states) is trying to make a guy who has never tested positive for any banned substance take an unprecedented series of tests because the guy who supposedly uses a banned substance THINKS the other guy may, possibly, be using banned substances.

It's a joke, a farce. PBF = hypocrite if this is all true, about him using Xylocaine.

There was a post from paulfv a minute ago saying it was banned in Nevada? Hmm...I dunno where it went.

Anyway, this is the same thing as Pacquiao, surely? Under NSAC testing, Pacquiao is also clean. Personally, I would have liked the NSAC to stamp it's authority and say "this is what will happen". **** all this mediator bull****.

On a side note, reading all these posts, you've improved a lot in the past fortnight, mate. We may disagree but you're a good poster.

It's back. I formatted it wrong and the mods deleted it. I understand why that was done and I changed the format. It's now above your post that I quoted from.
