Will Mayweather Pick an Opponent as Tough as Clottey?

Some may call me stupid, although I highly believe Floyd UD12, Pac's got more chance flooring Floyd than he will Clottey. This is not an easy fight for Pac, a fight he can easily lose and he's risking to ever see that $40M payday.

 

So what if he is with Top Rank? Are you saying that Clottey is not a real threat to Pacquiao. Clottey can weigh-in up to 170 after hydration. Pacquiao will only weigh probably 148-150. Clottey is fast and powerful. His defense is also good. (TO *****s please don't say that it's not as good a Fraud Gayrunner's defense.)

i think williams will be very happy to cut weight to fight floyd but i highly doubt that floyd will mention his name as possible opponent :deal

Im trying to pinpoint the moment when Clottey became this great fighter held in such high esteem.

Was it when he beat shot to pieces lightweight Corrales?
Was it when he won a controversial technical decision over Zab? (Surprise, surprise, a headbutt)
Was it when the going got tough against Baldo and he fouled incessently to a DQ?
Was it when he cut Cotto (by what? you guessed it- his massive forehead) yet chose not to throw punches?

When exactly? Maybe it was those first four rounds againt the limited Margo.

 

And definitely Matthew Hatton or Malignaggi is tougher than Clottey.

How is it statistically possible that one fighter would have the most number of fans with an idiot IQ range? That in itself has a lesser chance of happening than winning a lotto, but it happened!

 

Mayweather is not tough and beatable as well.

 

yeah, floyd would fight the tough matthew hatton or the tough malignaggi. malignaggi is a tough guy. refused to quit or get stopped in the cotto and hatton fight.

 

He is nowhere near as beatable as Clottey.

Well given the fact that Mosely is out of the equation, only two of them are available. Bradley is a natural 10 fighter not a welter, and quote green. Im not saying he's not a good option either but its bu no means clear that he's a better opponent than Clottey. Give him a break; At least its a meaningful fight, unlike the soft options we so usually see.

 

floyd will never fight a bigger fighter than himself unless they are over the hill. he will call out LWW's like malignaggi, ortiz, khan, etc... and just outbox them. its a shame really because floyd has the skill to beat anyone. it would have been better for his career had he lost that decision to castillo!!!
