I don't know how L.A. is representative of America (or even the world), but the L.A. Times poll puts the blame on Mayweather and Company, at 92%.

 

given the current developments and movements on pac and pbf's respective camps after the negotiations went down, i'd say pbf is on the worse end.

Pac. He can ONLY fight Top Rank fighters now because everyone else knows he is juicing. That is why he won't take on JMM or Bradley.

Let's just add him to the list of Top Rank and Roach's list of cheating fighters.

 

I don't know about that, people are still cheering Pacman in the states and they are lots of them. You probably base your source in the internet and that's not accurate.

 

Funny how you left out the infamous "tooth ache" and "vacation" Shame Mosley had planned when asked about fighting FLoyd. Not to mention Floyd was publically calling Shame out back in 1999. Look it up! Selective memory at its finest. Pathetic!

 

I don't think people in the know of what's happening will judge Pac unfairly.

Bear in mind that he's willing to take the test. Up to 24 days before fight night and Post-fight urine+blood is something a person with half a brain should consider before judging the other way.

if you remember anything about 06, just days after shane made that "toothache" statement, they were still negotiating to make the fight happen. shane wanted the lions share, floyd refused and the fight fell apart. back then shane deserved the lions share but floyd was too prideful to give it up.

Mosley's career was on the rocks. Mayweather was set to bang with DLH. Larry even called him on that crap in the damned interview!

Anyway he shouldn't have as SSM was a PPV flop, although a great fighter.

Late last night, Boxingtalk.com reached out to the Mosley's to see what the latest news was regarding their potential November 4 showdown with undefeated pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather. Although their Monday afternoon meeting with Richard Schaefer and Oscar De La Hoya was described as "great", we were informed that a deal has not been struck as of now and a follow up meeting has been scheduled for the near future. While we were not provided with detailed specifics, Boxingtalk can inform you that Mosley is currently requesting the lion's share of the money for the Mayweather bout to take place. Jin Mosley explained to Boxingtalk that she feels Floyd Mayweather Jr is delusional for thinking he's going to get the kind of money he's looking for and she made it perfectly clear that both her and Shane believe Mayweather should have taken the $8M to fight Antonio Margarito, going as far as to state, "you tell Bob Arum to give us $8M and we'll fight Margarito in November." Surely there will be much more to follow. Until then, remember where you heard it first!




all i'm sayin is it's stupid to think shane was "ducking" floyd. these guys have been playin games with eachother for years, but it's still not too late to make it happen. whatever happened in the past needs to be left in the past. right now, its the best fight to be made outside of pac-mayweather.

 

Although i think Mayweather is at fault for unnecessarily starting all this ****, the steroid claims have hit home and it has definitely smeared Pacquiao's name and left him in a **** position. Fighting Clottey strikes me as a fairly irrelevant opponent, be him a fairly able one.

Mayweather is a crafty businessman and could just about tee up a mega fight with Eric Crumble, he will sort something out i think.

 

Now I wan't you to follow along with me in time...

On November 4th who did he fight? Baldomir. Lineal champion and he got the $8 million too. So to fight SSM would have been for nothing but bragging rights AND and by Jin Mosley's own words... for peanuts. If Mosely wanted the fight he would have out bid Baldomir's people.

Now I ask you, if you had a choice between fights who would you choose? The lineal champion for the money you want/deserve or a guy who's career is on the rocks that won't pay you?
