Danny Williams vs Mike Tyson is one of the most entertaining fights in the last few years at heavyweight if you ask me, at that point in his career all Tyson could do was stand toe-to-toe and trade looking for one big shot, and Williams' enormous heart and determination in coming back from those first couple of rounds when Tyson would beating his ass is a sight to behold.
And he was in **** shape too. It's a good job he never fought the real Lennox Lewis. If Lewis did rematch him it would have been like watching Lewis vs Rahman 1 & 2. :deal
You would have an argument prime for prime but if there was a rematch Vitali would've KO'd Lewis by the 4-5th round. Lewis was on the decline & VK was on the rise. The beating Vitali gave Kirk Johnson was supposed to be for Lennox, same for the Sanders beating. I don't think Lewis could physically get ready or motivated for the 2nd fight, I mean how exactly do you work on facing an awkward style like Vitali's? Who are you going to get to spar against who emulates an effective version of the style that VK fights?
Too bad there wasn't a rematch to this one. Guess its hard to make a guy who is is set for life and has lost that hunger to go through a gruelsome training camp just to risk a loss. The only reason Danny was able to survive was because Mike did his knee at the end of the first round. People heralded that win like Danny did something special.
Klitschko was beating his ass and was ahead 4 rounds to 2 and in the 6th or 5th round I believe he took lewis's best shots and he still stood and kept On outboxing lewis. Had it not been for that nasty cut klitschko wouldve defenitly won that fight
atsch Klitschko was absolutely ****ing spent. He was gone in the next round, or the 8th at the latest.
