This would be the fight of the century.i have julio cesar chavez winning and pacquiao a bloody mess at the end. Chavez would murder pacquiao. Chavez was just too heavy handed!
the chavez from the rosario fight would walk him down, absorb a lot of punishment and be down on the cards after 6. that's when chavez starts to corner him and push him to the ropes, working the body. by the 9th pac's legs are gone and without that, he's forced into a shooting match with chavez. i'd say it's stopped on cuts in the 12th. Chavez wins by TKO
:yep:yep:yep:yep:yep Coming from the biggest Chavez hater on this forum. :deal What a surprise. :think
Julio Cesar Chavez was an immovable object in his prime at Lightweight. He cut off the ring effortlessly, and banged to head and body with both hands, utilizing frightening accuracy and precision. An underrated defensive fighter who could slip and roll with punches to act as damage limitation. Pacquiao has fast hands, can hit hard, and will most likely build up an early lead against Chavez, who was a slow starter. However, Pacquiao trades with all of his opponents, and I favor the vicious body punching and crunching head shots to slowly take it out of Manny, who'd be stopped late on. Referee's decision. The Whitaker fight is a non factor. That was past prime Chavez, and Pacquiao is NOTHING like Whitaker.
:goodagree with this totally. you have the take PRIME chavez at 135 versus pac. the welter chavez and even 140 versions were slightly faded
