No draw option? I think this fight is up in the air. Vargas' size should give Pac problems in the early rounds, but I don't know what to make of the fight in the later rounds. Pac's power and speed comes into play for sure. I just don't know.

I don't even know why you'd entertain this. I mean, Pacquiao has never fought at 154, the guy's three feet tall and Vargas could come out of retirement and accidentally kill Pacquiao by falling on him right now. It'd have to be at Heavyweight but, you know.

i didn't go through the whole thread so my apologies if it's been said but thank God vargas is winning this poll handily. maybe pac could move up and be a big deal at 154, but so far nothing has given us the impression he could handle the size, strength and tremendous skills of vargas. man had brilliant fundamentals, great power, huge heart, not the best chin but good recovery and could have been the second best 154 pounder ever. at this point, vargas TKO 11
I believe Vargas has to much size and power for Manny Pacquiao at 154lbs. It's often forgotten, but Vargas looked like the next best thing as he was moving through the ranks at a rapid rate. He hit very hard at Light Middleweight, and it took one of the hardest hitting Welterweights in recent decades to overcome him in a real battle, a fighter who had a lot more experience than Vargas. If Manny takes the shots he took from Cotto against Vargas, there's only going to be one winner.

Well considering we never seen Pac at 154 its hard to say. I don't think Vargas would know what to do with the speed of PAC, althought Vargas knows how to box and if he put that machismo **** away and fought smart he could pull out a win. If he gets caught in a fire fight he loses.
