Had he passed the test he would have came out on top win or lose. Instead he chose another route....

There was no steroid controversy prior to the talks up to the negotiations. All of it were trumped up rumors that the Mayweathers came up with to discredit Manny's accomplishments and a possible out for Floyd should he lose.

Great you come back with a sentence that does not make any sense. Do sniff PCP or something?

    This.

Basically, whatever Pac does from now on will be tainted by the smear campaign the Mayweathers conducted against him.

In answer to the poll question - what steroid controversy was there, apart from the one that was created by the Mayweathers slanderous comments? Prior to Daddy Mayweather opening his dumb mouth and little Mayweather jumping onboard, I had never heard any suggestion that Pac may be using steroids.

    The Mayweathers are dogs.

You don't get it, huh? You've been under a rock, yeah?? Brian Kenny, Dan Rafael ,Tim Smith and every other boxing journalist have been doing everything but publishing articles and giving interviews having anything to do with Mayweather Sr. HELLO? Negotations for this fight failed over DRUG TESTING. HELLO? THIS ISN'T ABOUT PACQUIAO'S INNOCENCE OR GUILT. THIS IS ABOUT PUBLIC PERCEPTION. Ask yourself; is this the last time we're going to hear "Manny Pacquiao" and "steroids" together in the same sentence? Do people really think this is about Mayweather Sr. NOW, FFS?? It MUTATED. Yeah..

Public perception will ultimately be favorable towards Pacman

Pac has the entirety of the filipino population at his back, and a good deal of the hispanic market as well. The number of devoted fans he has FAR outnumbers Mayweather

There will be those who point fingers at Pac, but he has an established legacy and it is more welcoming to believe he did it clean than believe he was on "roids".

Provided Pac wins his next fight, the idea that he is on steroids will wane considerably.

I still maintain you would have to be a very hateful fan to WANT to believe and insist that Pacman is on steroids.

Im not a Mayweather fan at all, but if accusations were leveled at him, I would readily defend him.

Luckily for Pacman, it is only a small segment of boxing fans that are such fools and jester.

Anyone with any real sense of sportsmanship may wonder, but he will be given the benefit of the doubt. Pacman is hard not to like. We all want to believe the good guy is "good", and not have our belief soured

Clottey's next opponent turned down a payday of 30 mil over a 10 day disagreement... There was no smear campaign pusshead lol... Floyd wouldn't agree to make 30 mil himself and smear his opponent pusshead. Get off of Clottey's next opponents dick!

What steroid controversy? Floyd and his daddy make some bogus claims and outrageous demands... and now there is a "steroid controversy"? Well... it's obvious that Floyd knows there is a lot of waterheads out there who just believe everything they read, or that comes out of someone's mouth.

    You're a headcase buddy.

Open the door, step outside and get some fresh air.

Only idiots believe Manny is juicing. All this 'steroid controversy' was caused by slanderous comments made by the Mayweathers. It's the oldest trick in the book - sling enough mud and some will stick, especially when there are enough mindless sheep out there to perpetuate and spread the lies.

Hey guys, did you hear Obama won't show his birth certificate! He is not from the USA.

Why not just make a poll like this?
