yeah..no one has ever looked good fighting clottey. he's almost like a jr. middleweight. however, this i think is what makes pacquiao exciting than floyd. he gambles.

anyway, unless it's a possible convincing win of clottey, they may re-match of manny loses. both are top rank fighters.

people talk about floyd handpicking opponents, but what the hell is this? so your telling me pac fought and destroyed Cotto, to get to Clottey...a guy cotto beat? this makes no sense whatsoever, at least fight someone worthy of a title shot and not some guy they just want pac to attack

I don't like him to fight Clottey too. However, in the current situation and the March 13 schedule, Clottey is the best possible fight out there. Shane is fighting Berto end of this month and won't be ready by March, we all know what happened with the negotiations with Floyd, and Pac has already defeated Cotto. Clottey is the logical next in line if you take in to consideration the Welterweight ratings and the March 13 date. I would look at a Pac fight below Welterweight as him picking on a smaller guy.

To be honest, I'd rather Pac wait for the Mosley/Berto winner.

well if no Mayweather, Clottey is a much better option then Malignaggi or Foreman. im a fan of Clottey, but style wise he's a bit too slow and not active enough to seriously threaten Pac.

Clottey's best win at the elite level was vs Zab Judah.

**regarding all this Mosley-Berto winner getting into the mix, I have to wonder if either vs Pacquiao would be fought at a catchweight

because the first time I heard Roach speak on fighting Mosley he mentioned fighting at 142.

from what I read **no catchweight for Clottey-Pacquiao

Pac isn't the one who owes money all over the place.

If he looses, he can retire with 7 belts and an ATG career under his belt.

I wouldn't be happy if Pac asks for a catchweight this time. After the Cotto fight, we know that he is a legitimate welterweight and Team Pac should know that. Any Pac fight in the welterweight division should be fought at the welterweight limit.

I think Pac is more confident at the weight now so hopefully that won't be an issue for any of his other fights at 147. If it is, he loses respect for me. It is just plain wrong to have the belt involved and insist on a catch weight. I think Cotto was 100% correct.
