Pacquiao will outdo Floyd head to head and ruin any possibility of the fight

  1. Let's be honest for a second here - if Manny and Floyd are fighting on the same night, regardless of PPVs or what have you - Pacquiao is going to outsell Floyd. *****s can say whatever they want about Manny being a roid raging, unskilled club fighter, but even they cannot deny he is far more entertaining to watch than Floyd is. Every reasonable boxing fan and insider agrees with this.

So when Pacquiao and Mayweather are fighting on TV at the same time, Pacquiao is going to garner significantly more money/viewers. Then when they try to renegotiate the fight for later in the year, Pacquiao is certainly going to demand a larger percentage of the purse and the fight will never get made.

Let's hope things don't happen as they appear to be headed.

Mayweather is boxings villain, he sells against boxers people like.

He can't carry the weight of a PPV on his own, impossible.

Let alone with someone like M Hatton/Paulie...

Which look to be his only hope.

They might give him Bradley, but you never know.

If floyd doesn't fight a good fighter next he is done.
If floyd doesn't fight a real welterweight next he is done.
    His options are limited.

  5. Reportedly, Mayweather's list of possible opponents is down to:

    Paulie Malignaggi (a feather-fisted 140lb B-level fighter)
Nate Campbell (an old, washed up and shot 135lb B-level fighter)
Timothy Bradley (a good but still raw and still 140lb fighter)
Kermit Cintron (a bigger but flawed B-level fighter)

Hopefully he fights Cintron, he's the only one who won't be coming up in weight to fight Floyd (AGAIN) and the only one with enough power to stand any chance.

Golden Boy will set it head to head on Mar 13 to save their face as well as Floyd's ass. But at the end of the day, if ticket sales is mediocre, Floyd would have another rib injury excuse to reset it on later date. Sound familiar?

You are right. But I think GBP is smart enough to know that they used Floyd's fake rib injury before so we might hear the injury coming from floyd's opponent this time.. lol

Paul Williams or the Shane/Berto winner are the only ones that can help Floyd outsell the head-to-head PPV
