There's no story here. Pacquiao should be fighting at 140lbs, so it's a compromise. Clottey obviously thinks he can be strong at the weight. Once he accepted, then it's down to him.

Catchweights are bad when done once in a while.

As far as official is concern, Arum's word is better than this and Koncz.

I applaud Pac for fighting one of the biggest WW now in the form of Clottey. He's risking himself of being a Duran when Duran fought Hearns (Duran has talent advantage, but massive reach / size advantage took it's toll).

But if this is a catchweight even lower than Cotto's 145. He will loose his WARRIOR image in my eyes.

no offence but ur a dickhead...pac SHOULD be fighting at 140 but challenged CLOTTEY WHO IS 147 not 140 so PAC has to come up not the other way around....pfft watever makes manny look better and makes ARUM and extra dollar..

the video is now not working but i have watched some of it and it says that they will request that the fight is held at 144. i don't know who is referring "they" but i suspect that it is koncz or could be pac himself but i doubt it.

i hope that the will fight clottey at the full limit. pac has proven now that he can handle real welters. i know that they are concern that clottey is a big welter but roach knows best that pac can take him at 147 limit.
