    :thumbsup BINGO

he's got the cheek to say he will be weak from a blood test when he
is on 7'000 calories a day and strong as on ox

i doubt floyd is on 7'000 calories a day if he has to make 147
    or loose 10 million a pound :-(

why are people so blind :patsch

Sorry Jack mate, but I disagree with you on some of the above.

Whilst I agree that Pacquiao is good at 140 he fought at 145 against Cotto. I am unsure of what weight he was against De La Hoya but I assume that it was above 140, so in that respect he is a welterweight, and one who currently holds a 147 world title.

I believe that Clottey would "Boil down" to 140 if it meant securing the big pay day! Despite the fact that he is a huge welterweight.

Manny is a 147 champ therefore he really should not be imposing such weight restrictions upon a fellow 147 fighter, whether it is for the title or not.

There is a story here and the story is that yet again Pacquiao, the p4p #1 is once again setting weight restrictions upon opponents who are in his current weight class! And Manny's attitude is obviously "If you do not agree, I will find someone who will and fight them instead".

I have been a fan of Pacquiao for a long time and all through the ped drama I defended him, but the fact is that I have lost some respect for him and I am sure other fans of his (and of boxing) have also.

yes it not yet official. it says they will request, but i hope they will not push for it. so far koncz was the only one saying this and both arum and roach said 147 is fine.

Posters like you are the reason this forum is terrible, you know that? Not a clue about boxing and too little grammar.

If Clottey agrees, who the **** are you or anyone else to say it's bull****?

Pacquiao is the scum of the Earth.

I hate the roid munching ****.

As if it's not enough that he's chosen a limited, plodding, slow welterweight with no stamina, he refuses to fight him unless he's completely dehydrated?

Poor Clottey has no chance but to accept the terms as he's probably desperate for a big payday.

Little does he know with this weight, and Pacquiaos roid rage, he could end up severely injured.

if ever pac requested this himself, i'm sure clottey would agree just to secure the payday. but pac must realize that this would not sit pretty well with the hardcore boxing fans now who wants his blood. the 147 fight with oscar is fine since he came up from 135. the 145 catch is just ok since we still don't know how he would stand against a real welter. but now, pac mut fight clottey at the full limit of welter or he just fight at 140 against bradley for a unification. if ever pac himself approves of this request, i will start losing respect for him and he will pull almost the same thing that floyd did against jmm.

Listen mate theres a difference between typing fast and making errors and grammar learn the difference..please...

This forum is fine it just had too many nut huggers on both sides and why wouldnt Clottey take this fight..He is one of the most avoided fighters...hasnt had a big payday.....and to go from that to fighting manny and making 10mil proabably he can retire on that...do you think Joshua can retire now before this fight hoenstly?
