Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto have pretty big followings. I cant believe you could put Clottey anywhere near either of them in regards to his followings.

Im am a hardcore boxing fan, and i truly have no interest in this fight. Clottey is decent enough to make this a good fight seeing as though he has never been hurt."If you let him let tell it" He has a good a chin but i think with the pacman's offensive style he will be forced to stay on defense making for a boring fight. Also like bonds said, most people dont even know clottey, so this fight is basically a waste of time and money for all fans.

It def will do better than marquez vs mayweather and people are still thinking mayweather vs pacquiao will still happen, but once the first press confrence starts the boxing world will take notice.

The only fight that this should be compared to should be Pac-Mayweather.

Tell me how the numbers would compare to that fight?

And how can you walk away from that fight when you're so close to a resolution. Im a fan I wanted to see the best fight out there is that unreasonable.

I read somewhere that HBO will only show one of these fights, wonder which one they'll pick.

Are these polls EVER accurate?, I remember votes being so against Mayweather/Marquez people should have been surprised if it made one PPV buy yet look at the numbers after the fight.

Boxing fans tend to be very cold about fights when they're first announced but as it goes closer it's always the typical "Oh my God!, look how ripped Clottey is, can't wait!" and so on. Didn't almost everyone claim to ditch the DLH/Pac fight?, what happened there?. Those are recent examples, there's a lot more.

"Another issue would be television. HBO Pay Per View can handle one of the fights or choose neither. Another company would have to showcase the other fight if HBO does go either direction" - from The Ring.
