Why do people call Carl Froch.... 'Carl Frock' still?

I know, absolutely pathetic! Tarver was even saying Frock when calling the Dirrell fight while Al pronounced it right.

 

I was sat across somebody on a long train journey from manchester to leeds who was calling him Froach, like it was short for freddie roach.

I didnt correct him tho, just glad to be talking to somebody who knew a little about the sweet science.

I actually encountered this at college the other day as well. The dude in question pronounced Froch 'Froach' like mugen82 has said above as wellatsch. I put it down to poor promotion and the name also not being spelled completely as it's said (Frotch); if you were to read about him and never hear his name on TV you'd probably pronounce it wrong as well:good.

 

Neither do i, for somebody who's barely had over 20 fights, he's got some nerve acting like he's some kind of ATG.

One lucky shot against an old RJJ doesnt cover up the fact you didnt win a single round out of 24 against Chad Dawson.

 

I see where you're coming from, can see it now, 3 years onwards, preppy tweeny milly cyrus loving girls talking about lb 4 lb great Froach.

What have i started, shoulda learned from Neville Chamberlain, appeasement never works.
