Arum stated that when the offer was put forward prior to the mediation, they sent Pac/Koncz a text message. The 14 day offer was rejected.

This is what Arum said in response to the comments by Schaefer that he had information indicating Manny did not know of the offer after the mediation.

Whether you believe Arum or not is the question.

    Link 1 source?
I'm not saying you're lying, I just want to see evidence that pacquiao told them no to the 14 day window.
Last I heard it was arum telling them no to 14 and signing clottey instead.

The same way Pinocchiao can dictate the catch weight for every fight. I thought boxing had weight devisions for a reason. I guess Pinocchiao already has his 8th world title in the "Catch Weight" devision

dont worry Manny does that as well,

he fights for world titles at catch weights less than the limit... plus asks for millions for going over the weight , cotto $1000000.. mayweather £10000000

even clottey will have to fight at 145

........ All mayweather wanted was blood tests

Just what is the real story about it and how reliable are our sources since what transpired in the mediation is not made public or is it? I ask this because I'd read somewhere that it was the Mayweather's camp that flatly rejected the 24 day test offered by the Pacquiao camp instead of making a counter offer. The 14 day testing was offered by Mayweather before mediation and it was said that they did not repeat such offer in the mediation.

That 14 day window was based on Pac taking a blood against Hatton 14 days before the fight. In reality it turned out to be 24.

Therefore Pac offered 24 days instead of 30, because that's what Floyd's proposed compromise was based on in the first place.

To be accurate, Cotto is the only catchweight fight of Pac to date. And for the information of those who are ignorant on the nature of penalty, it is not meant to dupe money from the erring party but to assure compliance with the agreed terms from both parties.

Where is this mediator? He needs to make public on what was discussed in the mediation between the two parties to set the record straight.

And it was rejected by Mayweather? Did Mayweather make any counter proposal? My impression was that he didn't but in the absence of an official word from the mediator, that's mere speculation.
