    Well I hope it is at 147. It would make no sense to accept fighting Floyd at 147 but not Clottey.

    Unlike Cotto, who was contracted to come in at a catch weight of 145 pounds, Clottey will not be required to weigh-in at a catchweight. He will be able to tip the scales at the standard welterweight ceiling of 147 pounds.

    Originally, Koncz had said that there was a catchweight of 144 for Pacquiao-Clottey, but he has since corrected that. A catchweight could have been a huge advantage for Pacquiao.​


    I remember during Cotto-Clottey the commentators were saying that if Clottey beat Cotto, no way would Pac fight Clottey because he's too damn big. Now look what's happening?

    Paquiao fights clottey at 147 but he couldn't fight cotto at 147?

    That fight should have been at 147, Pac didn't need the catchweight. But still, it's his one and only catchweight fight. Can't bring up DLH, no way Manny was moving up to 154.
