I was pissed. I really wanted Rampage to win that fight. The fact that such brutal encounters with Wandy, and he came back to join the UFC and win the title is amazing. I was sure that when he hit them ropes he was almost dead. PRIDE had some of the most brutal beatings ever in the history of MMA.

Throw in the Shogun fight to I mean that beating IMO was as bad as it gets who has ever had his ribs battered like that ? Throw in tough fights like the first Rampage-Liddell fight you would think Rampage has alot of miles on him you know but hes just so damn though it doesnt seem to effect him same goes with Hendo. Remember the shots they bounced off each other faces and neither guy was stunned even though they have a history of sending guys to the hospital.

You're right. Only a few iconic - but still cool nonetheless.

I love that Couture pic. Randy walks away from dead people too.

That Sak cover is vicious. Was that after the first Wanderlai fight?

EDIT: Nevermind. I see on the pic. Ricardo Arona. Never knew they fought.

I agree. I wanted Rampage to win the rematch. I couldn't believe he sustained the damage he did in those fights. It's hard to believe that Rampage rebuilt himself after those fights. After the Shogun fight I was sure he was done.

I watched that fight not knowing the outcome on the PPV telecast man I almost started crying for Rampage in that Shogun fight and I cant stand him. Watching Shogun crack those rib made me cringe.
