It's hard to cherrypick the lineal champion in a division. He may have been a mediocre fighter, but he was the lineal champion. Should Floyd have avoided fighting him and taking the title purely on principle?

    No..............Hell NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Void Sr. said that he did not want Void, Jr. to fight Pac. He said this right after Pac beat Cotto! No wonder Void is afraid of Pac!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He isn't cherrypicking its obviously just because of Arum but i don't like the fight to be honest. Although Clottey is arguably as good as Cotto he is in a way irrelevant. Would rather see Manny go after a belt at 154 or Bradley at 140.

Still an interesting fight against a tough opponent though, if anything i just don't like the idea of Clottey getting a shot at a guy who is superfight material, as i think he is undeserving, after giving fairly heartless performances in his two very good shots handed to him so far.

No Clottey is a legit WW and isnt a pushover for Pac. Bigger, stronger action fighter that has good defense and chin to make it a competitive fight. He gave Cotto all he could handle and should have beaten Cotto had he stepped on the gas the last two rounds.

Please people who voted YES. Tell me what you think if it was Floyd fighting Clottey. Would you guys still think it's CHERRY PICKING?

That's all you need to know about who ducked who. Manny is fighing yet another full fledged welter that floyd ducked, so fans can get some good fights.
cause pussyboy floyd sure cannot give us any. Word is his list of opponents are narrowed down to ricky's younger and worse brother, or another lightweight in nate campbell. The walk is alot better than the talk,
and manny walks while gayrunner..................you know. ***weather loses because this fight didn't happen, and not manny. Just alot money lost. Mayweather loses money and respect......the little he had. History will have fraud as just another protected undefeated fighter. calxaghe will have just as good a legacy as mayweather unless he beats manny. But since he's too scared to even fight a real fighter then that's never gonna
    happen.

The choice of opponents after the talks fell apart, not to mention the choice of opponents for their whole careers, tells the story IMO. We can try to believe that it was all about the blood testing but i don't buy it. The evidence is in the choice of opponents. PBF is picking on 135 and 140 lbers.

Simple logic. I'm still waiting on the mayweather muppets to try and dispute this though.
