    i've got a signed photo in the attic somewhere.he's a week younger than me,i think.
    he was good to watch,i remember him beating dwight davison and john collins.:good

    Nice one!! He had a big heart and did himself proud against Marvellous Marvin! I've been out drinking and bumped into him on a couple of occasions as we're both leicester lads, he really is a top bloke, very humble.

    there was only one headguard in my gym and in those days you didn't need one for a fight.are they crap ??

    he had a couple of fights with a bloke from manchester named eddie smith about 79 or so.good fights !!
    my trainer picked him over minter but i knew better !?!?!?

    Lost 1 Won 1 with Eddie Smith!

    Loved it when he beat Minter though; I didn't like the way Minter spoke of Hagler when he came over to the UK, put me off him a little.

    i know what you mean.i was surprised because i knew he was good mates with conteh and billy knight.
    i prefer to think he was misguided or that they were somebody elses words

    Surely you cant forget the Minter and Kaylor fights, in Minter he showed he was World Class and with the Kaylor win he showed he was the man in Europe.
