No I don't but I remember when my dad was managing George Turpin when he beat Singleton at the Stadium.

I don't think he really enjoyed it. He enjoyed being still involved with boxing but I think he got frustrated with fighters sometimes who he didn't think were dedicated enough.

Pretty much the ultimate exciting fighter one of those guys with a good chin but shipped loads of punishment and you never noticed he was hurt until he got dropped.

Also did he ever stop punching?

Chacon is another one, him and Boza were in 2 wars and Chacons fight with Limon is amazing.

Cant beleive it took till the second page for Basilio to get a mention.

Alan Rudkin was always in a good scrap same with McGowan

I've never seen it but I believe the first Johnny Clark fight was a classic. A war from the opening bell. British fight of the year for 1970.

Yeh? Musta been a classic as the second was a great fight aswell and I remember you saying Clarke was very highly rated at the time aswell.

But Rudkin vs McGowan II is my favrouite British fight ever the 12th round is classic

He started off with a Welsh lad Dave Davies who was an ABA champ and Turpin who'd won a bronze in the 72 Olympics. Later on he had a Liverpool lad Joe Lally. There was some others but I can't remember I was only a kid at the time.
