There were much more boring fights than Haye/Valuev. Any of the Wlad fights I'd say.

I wish Hopkins would retire,he has had a great career. He was unlucky not to get the verdict against Calzaghe and should have got a rematch. He got the Pavlick fight instead and that was a great showing which should have been his last.

Bute is available to fight Hopkins in April.

Hopkins was willing to go to Australia. There was a big payday for him there (3 millions if I remember correctly). He asked 60% of the purse and Green refused. Green is now targetting Tarver. He likes to fight old boxers it seems. He walks in Dawson's path.:yep

I wouldn't be surprised if a Hopkins-Jones fight still happens.I'm not sure it would be in Atlantic City but its possible. I thought Hopkins looked good against Ornealeas. After a slow start he really took over and at his age and the long layoff a slow start wasn't too surprising. I have no desire to see a Hopkins-Jones match but it seems a reasonable next fight for both guys.

Who knows? Bute only has Miranda, Pavlik and Hopkins left.
