Disappointing, as I wanted to see how he'd fare against Ward & the like. But CERTAINLY understandable, and I think it's a good move for him.

I wish him all the best...

That sucks for jermain but I had a feeling after he got ko`d the way he did vs abraham that he would be pulling out. He needs a break. Truthfully, I`m curious as to whether he ever comes back or not. He`s taken alot of punishment.

I wish him well,he seems a nice guy and has come across a good sportsman in defeat. Its probably for the best that he pulls out of the super 6 thing.

It is on schedule for that date, but it would seem most likely they will have to reschedule. I think they will wait and see how the fight with Green and Bika goes first. HBO still wants that date too though just in case.

I speculated a few days ago if he fought, it might be against medical advice. Maybe not enough to keep him from a license, but..... With the NFL studies more attention is being paid to concussions. His promoter severing ties?

Props JT. Think of your health first. You have given boxing enough. Your too wins over Bhop will always put you with the elite. :thumbsup

I don't think so...they are no old timer boxers to fight in the super six and Manfredo is not there...

Jermain fought his last ten fights against current or recent world titlists, world champions, and/or hall of fame level fighters.

Although he insists he's only taking some time off we all know this is pretty much the end for him

    Wish him luck!

He wants to fight. People who know the truth about his health stepped away and said you were on your own. Even people close to him wouldnt support him getting in the ring. I believe Showtime put the pressure on him as well and he finally realized it was the right thing to do.

Replacement should be Bute or Stieglitz
