Pavlik as a contract with HBO and like Bute who is the more natural choice replacement as he is a belt holder at 168 I just can't see them allowing them to enter. Its a shame really but as for Bute if he keeps on winning a fight with the eventual winner would be a very good payday if it happens.

I think we talked about this before, but I'll ask again; How many head butts would Ward throw before Pavlik busted his face open with an elbow?

Kessler is to much of a "sportsman" to deal with a guy like Ward. Pavlik, Abraham, Froch?? Any of those guys would put Ward in check right quick.

I did and that is why I said that he has had one world class dominent performance. For me to be the 'man' at the weight he has to prove that he can do it against a world class opperator with a different style to kessler.

Again for the record I'm not saying Ward isn't good beacause on his last showing he looked excellent. I'm purely saying that for me he is not totally proven yet!

Martinez became the talked about option when Paul's camp would not accept anything less than 50 - 50 for him and Kelly , in effect pricing there fighter out as how the **** does 1 war with a JrMW give you the right to ask a unified MW champion for 50 - 50 as a non title holder !!!!!

Pavlik would go fight on the jerry springer show before he would join the super six.

Agree'd , but he beat a bigger man than Pavlik and a fighter who has all the hall marks Pavlik has , fights up right , no lateral movement , throws straight punches , virtually no head movement and struggles with fighters who move laterally ala Hopkins , Calzaghe , Ward etc etc etc .

Ward would be the last fighter on the planet i would fight if i were Pavlik !!!!!

Agreed. For me Pavlik beats Williams anyway.

The fights at middleweight aren't gonna cement Pavlik as a great.

Whereas showing some balls in the super six could!

As well as earing him a good dollar or two!

I'm not so sure. Pavlik seems like he has more versitility than Kessler. Also he would respond to Wards dirty tactics rather than letting him walk all over him. It would be a swift uppercut to the bollocks for Ward I fear! lol:yikes

Kelly dosen't have the heart for the Super Six!!

    Froch would kill him!!!
Abraham would knock Kelly into 2012!!!
    Kessler would out box him!!
    Ward would out box him!!!
Direll would run circles around Kelly with his speed!!!

Let KP clean up the C and D level fighters!!!:-(

Finally someone that agree's with me!

I've never been totally a believer in the 'if you beat the man you become the man' ethos.

The reason they were 'the man' is because they beat all comers at the weight. Not because they had one good performance!

I've noticed you don't like him very much! lol

    You could well be right.

But this could be his chance to prove guys like yourself wrong.

I just wonder wether they have made any enquires and wether they see it as the chance that I do!

The head butts had nothing to do with it ....................... Ward beat Kessler to the punch all night long and took away his rear hand by lateral movement , he didnt fight on the inside therefore taking Kessler's 2nd biggest weapon away the right uppercut inside and picked Kessler off from the outside .

Pavlik fights the same way as Kessler , id even go as far as saying Kessler technically is the better fighter , Pavlik comes forward in straight lines and throws straight punches , he's a very predictable fighter and Ward would have a field day with him it would be target practice !!!!!

Pavlik has buldozered his way through fighters @160 because of his freekish size !!!!!!!!! P4P he is considered to be out of his depth .
