    I said "Clottey is a good fighter" but of course the casual fan says "no he's not"...At that point I did the double face palm and realized what sour taste this leaves in casual fans.

    Anybody else come across casual fan-syndrome yet?

    ya i got a text last night from a friend who doesnt know about boxing at all but he was at work then shoots me a text

    "who the hell is joshua clottey?"

    lol... i told him and then he was like... meh, whatever.

    Clottey is no bum or cherry-picked fighter but IMO Pacquiao could have done abit better like Bradley or the winner of Khan/Maidana.

    Mayweather
    Pac
    Cotto
    Hatton
    Mosley

    period


    He could be fighting Paul Williams and they would have said the same thing

    lots of my friends, most very casual fans, see it as manny not wanting to get caught taking drugs because he walked away from $40 mill.

    and yes they think clotteys a bum....which he isnt

    Clottey isn't a bum...but to go from Mayweather Jr to Clottey would be like going from a Mercedes Benz to a Pinto.

    I have...NOT ALOT OF PEOPLE KNOW WHO JOSHUA IS...I wanna see how this fight does in ppv buys..if it does a million than we know pac is just as big of a draw as anyone else..if it does horrible than we know Pac isn't what he thinks..

    the casual fan is pretty upset with boxing right now for pac's stupid stunt he pulled with the drug testing...
