of course not. i think i'd even bet money against this prediction.
jackson had better chin than hearns and hit harder.

Jackson's chin was pure glass, mate. It's not like either guy is going to survive if the other one lands a big shot.

    me too but :
    (1) jackson the better puncher
    (2) jackson the better chin
    (3) hearns barely the better boxer (just because of his physical prowess)
    (4) the reactions of the professional trolls here are unbearable

no it was not. see the first mcclellan fight to see the punishment he took.
also in the mccallum fight he was not down , it was similar to jones-sosa , jones-thornton , bare the knockdown . jackson's chin was good and really underestimated. maybe not a rock chin but far from glass.

Jackson didn't take much punishment from McClellan. In the first fight McClellan looked hesitant and tentative, and was shortening his right hands. When he actually landed anything half-decent, he put Jackson away.

Jackson was hurt badly by: Tim Harris, Herol Graham, Thomas Tate, Mike McCallum and G-Man. A lot of those guys aren't massive puncher and didn't even catch him with anything too significant. I like Jackson, but let's face it: the guy's chin was NOT good.

Hearns barely the better boxer?

Jackson was impossible to get out of there early wasn't he, look how long it took McCallum, incidently a slower less powerful less aggressive fighter than Hearns.

Get a grip. Actually, don't, terrible thought.

against mccallum of those you mentioned he simply could not escape the combo's workrate he was not that much hurt , a fact is he did not go down.
the harris , tate and graham fights i have not seen yet.

mccallum was not less powerful than hearns , not significantly for sure.
hearns was really agressive only against duran (of what i saw) and i guess shuler too.

Hearns hit substancially harder than McCallum. Jesus, his P4P power sits comfortable near the top of all time lists. Hearns power was ballistic.

He was very passive vs Cuevas wasn't he. And Hagler. And countless others.

Reading your last couple of posts I'd be very suprised if you've actually ever seen either Hearns or Jackson.
