As an mma fighter it has to be Rampage; longer career at the top level and has won the championship and been considered the #1 fighter in his class.

 

As a massive Pride fan who watched the peak action for that organisation, Cro cop for me.

My enthuisiasm for MMA pretty much diminished overnight when Pride collapsed and I was being force fed this retro rocker UFC crap. So I haven't been following it or Rampages career there closely.

Still, rampage is a legend. But prime for prime, Mirko all day baaaaby.

 

Rampage has done more in his division than Crocop in his.

 

This is a bad comment. Cro Cop was never ranked #1 because of Fedor, the greatest of all time. He ran fedor closer than anyone else ever has. He was an absolute beast in his prime and demolished his opponents much more impressively than Rampage who also has lost a lot of times, many more times in his prime than Mirko ever did.
Jackson is a quality fighter but i think Cro Cop WAS a class above.

 

As in who has achieved more in there weight - rampage by a country mile.

It would have been a fun fight to watch if they had fought back in the open weight tournament in Pride

 

Your reasoning makes no sense, Rampage was fighting in Pride before CroCop and they both had their first fight in the UFC at UFC 67.

So basically you are saying you like CroCop better because he bombed in the UFC while Quinton won a title.

Cro-Cop and it's not even close. He has had the clearly superior career and was a better fighter in his prime.

rampage and crocop peaked at different times. rampage has gotten more skilled in the past 5 years as opposed to crocop who peaked in pride. i feel crocop is a bit more complete than rampage though, prime for prime.

 

if we're talking prime then crocop easily...

the way in which he destroyed prime wandy was astonishing.
