****ing Hell. First the Joe Cortez excuse now i'm hearing that the integrity of the Pac knockout is in question due to Pac's refusal on the blood tests :rofl

    Yes it would, TBH.

If you look at it fairly Hattons no worse than most (pretty much all?) boxers who give reasons/ / excuses/ to justify loses such as weight, bad hands, poor ref etc but to say that about the Pac KO would be way beyond anything of that level.

People just jump on the "bad camp", "poor ref" comments because its Hatton when in fact something similar comes out of the losing corner after most big fights.

Yeah I was thinking about it and to be fair I agree. HOWEVER......... If it came out that Pac had juiced up for lets say, Mayweather or summat I wouldn't expect Hatton to be as classy as Cotto was re: Margarito

Who do you think will train Ricky? Lee Beard probably but I wouldn't mind seeing Joe Gallagher get the job.

Cotto was very restrained over Margo, I only remember reading one "iffy" comment from him about it and even that wasn't particulary strong.

Shall we stick to hanging Hatton for comments he's actually made though rather than ones we think he'd probably make?;)

I'm not the greatest Gallagher fan however i'd take him over Beard anyday.

I will put a fresh name into the mix Paul McCloskey. Hatton if he is doing it right wont want to risk a war with Marquez after the Pacman fight and Khan will be a no go as long as Warren is involved. So a fight with McCloskey could be the way to go. He will test Ricky all the way but wouldn't have the greatest of power in world but it will be a good hard fight. After that and how he does he can aim for a title fight with whoever needs a warm up fight first before a big fight.
