Pac has shown himself to be a great fighter with some quality wins to his name, but having Cotto defend his title below the WW limit dosent sit quite right with me. Ive read where some people say Cotto only weighed in a pound heavier in his last fight so another pound is no big deal. Then why make a weight stipulation & when its a title fight?, and also if you are lean at a weight, a pound I would of thought can matter. Of course Cotto said he was in great shape coming in, do you think hed say different before going into battle?
Now ive read Pac is defending against Clottey and the WW defence is to be below the weight limit again, how can he make the rules when this is a title fight?
I dont have a problem with catch weight fights but not world title fights.
    What you think?

noone will ever confuse Pac as one of the great WWs of all time anyways.

and I've heard Pac vs Clottey is at the full limit of 147

However if Pac goes on to knock out Clottey at 147 and beats Floyd and Mosley/Berto as well after destroying Cotto at 145 and Oscar at 147 (even drained), then he may be talked about as one of the great WWs.

The Clottey fight's at the welter limit of 147. The Cotto fight was the only fight Pac has ever had at a catchweight.

If Pacquiao vs. Clottey is at ANY catchweight, then I will not order it. I know they will survive without my buy, but my point in boycotting this is that Manny is basically a full-time welterweight now. Or maybe we should call Pacman's weightclass the "Super Junior Welterweight" class.

I can agree with catchweight fights for fighters coming up a long way from lower weightclasses to level the playing field. But then, the fight should not be for the title of the guy coming down in weight.
