Manny's / Armstrong's jump in weight: once and for all.

People use Manny's jump in weight as proof of him using PEDS.

Well, let's compare him with Henry Armstrong:

Armstrong debuted at 18 years 7 month at the weight of 120. He fought during his career as heavy as 148, but in his later years his average weight was around 142.

Manny debuted at 16 years 2 months at the weight of 106. By the time he was Armstrong's starting age (18 years 7 months) he was fighting at 113.
The heaviest he fought was 144 against Cotto. Roach has already stated 144 is the limit for him. He could easily fight Bradley at 140 if he choose to.

We have practically the same jump in weight (28 pounds for Armstrong; 31 pounds for Pac); the remaining difference can easily be explained by the fact today's fighters are allowed to drain their body's for the weigh in and then rehydrate the following day.
(Manny overused this trick when adolescent and it cost him a few defeats)

Also today's legal supplements and improved conditionning help athlethes build up muscle much more easily.

Mayweather's accusations are complete bull; the so called emails sent by Pac's camp could very well mean trouble for Tim Smith in a court of law if he cannot prove their authenticity.

Armstrong was lucky that there wasnt any jealous crackheads around in his time.

Armstrong was an elusive fighter who didnt get hit.

Pacquiao just bulldozes through people. Armstrong won the Welter belt weighing under the lightweight limit. He never over powered people he was just too good.

He is not a user yet he wont take a test before fight.... Hold on didnt Mayweather agree on 14 day window and didnt pac refuse this more reasonable offer?

Sorry but unless he mans up and takes a test how can the law suit mean anything?

How would you prove your innocence if you knew you were not hiding anything? tell me that. I know what i would do, even if i didnt like needles.

People are talking and its time to shut them up pac.

Correct but Armstrong never possessed the Speed and footwork of Manny

    You got it backwards.
Armstrong was a volume puncher who stalked his oponnents; he didn't have the one punch KO power of Pac so he won by attrition. If you believe he was elusive then you better rewatch his tapes.

I agree that labelling Armstrong "elusive" doesn't make a whole lot of sense. He was a crowding, violent fighter that was hard to hit clean though. Zivic sure kicked the **** out of him, however.

Didn't armstrong have an enlarged heart?
    I remember hearing that somewhere.

PBF and his gang stated multiple times the jump in weight by Manny is suspect; i've just demonstrated Armstrong did the exact same weight jump.

PBF is scared shitless and found a way out.

How about Georges Carpentier? Started as a flyweight, ended as a heavyweight. Most of his career wins were by KO.

he had an irregular heart beat which allowed him to fight at an insane pace a very long time. im not to sure of exactley wat the defect was or how it worked but he literally could never get tired
