Lee McAllister next fight

If Mccallister comes through this there could be a brill domestic showdown for the british title against Limond, Murray fighting for the european he's going to vacate i should think

 

If it wasnt being televised by SKY I would have considered it, or if the tickets had been decently priced...

However, it is being televised & greedy Gilmour is charging top dollar for a shitty card, so my big scottish ass will be cheering on from the TV set, beer in one hand & an ASDA chicken & sweetcorn sandwich in the other:deal

 

Its getting televised? ****ing hell...

They haven't even got a undercard sorted out for it yet, and the main event, is well, not great is it?

In all honesty, I dont think McAllister v Limond would be a good domestic showdown, I was at Limonds last fight & he looked like a fighter who has seen better days.
Compare that to McAllister, I watched his last fight too, & hes on the up & up & looking brilliant!

At this point, Mcallister v Limond would be a mismatch if you ask me, the aberdonian is just starting to hit his peak, & Limond is winding down.

 

I rekon Limond could get him self into tip top shape and give it a very good go if theres something to fight for, I think he is the mandatory for the title so he will definetly fighting for it.

 

When did I ever say I was the stalwart of scottish boxing cheering on all 'our' lads from ringside?

If you want to pay Gilmour premuim scottish boxing ticket prices to watch Lee beat an afrobum with a crap undercard, whilst SKY are televising it? Thats your call.

Put it this way, I used to pay less to watch my hero Scotty Harrison defend his world title.

So like I already said, my big scottish arse will be firmly planted in front of my TV screen when Lee fights in Glasgow. I love a good wind up. To be honest, I thought you were being nasty to this old timer cos I had a disagreement with yer pal MIK about old Rab the crab Bannon, this place is pretty close knit nowadays.

Listen, its on SKY. & old Dunky does his bit for scottish boxing, I was at the Pavilion to see McMillan being robbed by Young recently, non televised & it was so low budget even I was blushing!

In fact, I was just behind resident celeb poster Billy Nelson, who came up to the balcony handing out Cornetto ice creams to his cronies just before the main event, & wee Hasty the boxer too!

In fact, I was tempted to ask for an ice cream too but didnt want our Billy to be starstruck by meeting an ESB legend like my good self, so just stayed in the background

I like McAllister, good to see him get some TV time.
