oh wait what? you forgot he had only 39 fights. alot for someone with low standards

James would clean his clock. ray was always hestitant, afraid to defend against a young middleweight otherwise he would have done it. actions speak louder than words

got to be kidding. Ray was no Micheal Nunn in the ring. Let alone Roy Jones

and besides, Leonard wouldnt have the guts to take the match anyways. We all know that

    Hagler??

you think that impresses me? On the contrary

Leonard will wait 5 years to fight an old man. He'd fight an old man any day.

He'd never fight a young man like Nunn.

The proof is in the pudding. Leonard had his chance to contest the claim of best middleweight after Mike aced Kalambay but Leonard wasnt man enough to come out. Instead he calls for flatfooted. over the hill Duran

Mike would kick his ass Terry Norris style!

Like I said, I have absoultely NO FAITH in Leonard as a fighter

Assuming Toney isn't weight drained, then he beats Leonard easily at Middleweight.

Leonard was fantastic at Welterweight, but he didn't carry his power with him to Middleweight.

Did you ever see him fight Nunn? He wasnt too anxious for that was he? He'd rather pick a fight with Lalonde anyday or any fighter that'd reached the end of the road

and the best thing is you can't dispute it

it isnt the greatness of toney it's the poorness of leonard at 160 or above. if a very torqued lalonde could win a few round i have no problems for james to bully the smaller guy.

unlike most other fast men agaisnt toney leonard i dont think is big enough or lengthy enough to get out of the way or kepp him off him.

My bro thought Toney was too big and strong, could counter Leonards punches and cut off the ring.

My counter argument was Leonard was alot quicker, did not commit to his shots against counter punchers, could stick to a game plan, good moveemnt against Hagler and did not get cut off.

That's exactly what I think. Leonard too smart and he's not the type to step in off balance just because an opponent uses a shoulder roll in there as a temptation. It'd be a legs bout and Toney is far far better from the waist up than compared to his game from the waist down.

Toney by decision. At 160, Leonard was small and in a long fight, he would have gotten winded trying to keep away from Toney. James would have hurt Ray and bullied him, because Leonard wouldn't have been able to hurt him.

People easily dispute your logic all the time, red. But you keep on rollin' like the all-star you are so I'm not going to bother. Just know I'm amused. :good Keep up the good work.
