I love that early 90's era!!!! Could you imagine some of the guys in UFC fighting with shirts and pants fighting BAREKNUCKLE again!!! That would be epic to say the least.
Why would I blame a fighter for fighting? Fights like Arona vs Sak and Manhoef vs Sak are going to get somebody seriously injured in a permanent sense. Seeing how the cage was designed while Rorian Gracie was in charge, your argument that it was designed for wrestlers holds little water. Fact is the matchmaking in certain Japanese shows, including Pride and the various incarnations of K1 MMA, has a history of being questionable and pointless at best to criminally negligent and sad at its worst. Shows like Shooto should be the example, they have always been completely profesional in their matchmaking. Sorry if I don't share the idea of a living legend being beaten into a state that will endanger his quality of living both long and short term, and possibly even his life, all to fulfill some childish fantasy mindset of the brave underdog overcoming the foreign monster as good enough.

lol whoops, my bad sometimes fedors record is so extensive i forget some of his fights. i just peaked over it again and realized he fought big nog 3 times damn, i only saw the first one were fedor was suppose to be a sacrifice to big nog.
