cotto wins, gets a title at 154, then pac calls for a rematch, so he can get the 154 belt...lame

 

I suspect Cotto is in cash out mode. Fight beatable guys under favorable conditions for as long as that remains economically viable. He has very little ceiling at anything above 147, but fortunately for him there aren't many fights there that pose much threat.

It would surprise me if his people matched him against Williams.

Sweet nipples! That's on my b-day. Hopefully Cotto can go out as a champion, but Foreman should not be underestimated. Will be a good fight. I'll be ready with my Negra Modelos.

 

This is his last year boxing. Of course he wants to get some goos money before retiring.

 

guys guys guys... Listen. Cotto is only fighting because his contract says he HAS to. When he fought PAC the agreement was that he was to fight twice in 2010 to avoid any huge penalties via Arum.

Cotto fighting again vs a guy who isn't a killer puncher is just what he needs.

 

I went to his last fight with Clottey, still debating if I should go to this one. I don't know how much more he has left and don't want to see a dud.
