You take the top welterweight contenders... Mayweather Margarito Mosley Cotto Clottey Pacquiao Berto Collazo Cotto W Clottey Cotto W Mosley Margarito W Cotto Margarito W Clottey Berto W Collazo Mosley W Collazo Mosley W Margarito Mosley W Berto Pacquiao W Cotto Pacquaio W Clottey Leaves you with a league table of.... Pacquiao 2 - 0 Mosley 3 - 1 Margarito 2 - 1 Cotto 2 - 2 Berto 1 - 1 Collazo 0 - 2 Clottey 0 - 3 Mayweather 0 - 0 So Mosley vs Pac is the fight that has to happen!
Amen. The significance of Pac-Floyd might be bigger, but style-wise Pacman vs. the Sugarman you better dare not blink.
It really annoys me that Mayweather is so sure of his greatness when he hasnt even fought any of the top ten fighters in his division. I wish he would just sod off into obscurity.
The sad thing is that nobody would have a problem with Mayweather fighting the winner of a Mosley/Pacquiao bout (with out him really deserving it judging by the thread starters logic) and most people would pick him to win it.
Nobody would have a problem, because he's clearly very talented and it would be nice to see him test his skills against a top welterweight....for once. Clottey's potential record of 0 - 3 against the best WW is more impressive than Mayweather's 0 - 0. It's indisputable, because at least we've seen what he's able to offer against WW's elite - Floyd can't say the same.
mosley would be a sitting punching bag for pacquaio, the gulf in class is so big its unreal, he has basically no head movement, i fear for his life, i really do if he fights pacquaio
