i think pacquiao has a much greater chance of losing to clottey than floyd has of losing to cintron

Floyd shouldnt be praised for taking this fight, but he shouldnt be degraded either given the circumstances. This is a much better fight over Pauli and Campbell.

I don't think Cintron has a hope in hell against Mayweather; Martinez boxed his ears off, so will Floyd. Mayweather fight Williams, he is free to fight in March. Cintron is a nothing fight.

thats a weak fight and a easy ud for Mayweather ..... everyone knows that cintron is the biggest laughing stock in 147 and 154

Martinez has a longer reach than Mayweather so it won't be as easy for Floyd to outbox him like it was for Martinez.

Yep. Still this fight is better than Floyd facing Paulie or Campbell.

This fight does nothing for me. Hello Floyd, Paul Williams is available and waiting for your call.
    :hi:

I wouldn't complain if this happened, Cintron is a tough fighter and while i agree Clottley has a greater chance of springing an upset i feel that it is match will present Floyd with some challenges.

Cintron is A. An actual welter (finally an actual welter lol) and B. He has good power and is a decent boxer.

Overall I wouldn't criticise Floyd for taking this fight, although as James above says Williams would defo be a better opponenet and far tougher match-up. That would be the ideal opponent.

Are you so sure that he is available? Last time I saw him his head was banging from one side of the ring to the other. No disrespect for Paul but he took a beating.

Martinez is a big JMW , Floyd is relatively small WW so naturally it was easier for Martinez. This is not a bad match up.

Kemit Cintron's right hand = extremely dangerous.

    Don't ever forget that.

It's an okay choice of opponent. Cintron is a big WW (he's been fighting at 154 lately) and can punch.

Compared to the other guys being named by GBP as Floyd opponents, it's a great fight. Which shows you how pathetic the other choices are.

But Floyd still has to follow it up with Berto/Mosley/Pacquiao to keep his credibility.
