good point...but still. i just feel there are better things that bhop can be doing. but again, that is for the sport...for him, i can see why he wants this fight regardless of what state rjj is in. lotta bad blood and unsettled scores there.

Certainly makes sense......and at this point, I think Hopkins is winding down. I don't think you'll see him take on the Bute's and Dawson's of the world. He is still riding the wave of positive momentum after dominating KP and each fight he wins moves him up along the ranks of the ATGs......

    you said it my friend....

BUT...he still could lose as in all boxing matches. this is almost a lose lose for hopkins. he wins, well **** he just beat a guy who was taken out in the first round in his previous fight. he loses, well...

but i agree with what your saying

One won't emerge? Are you actually suggesting some kind of fight to the death!?

 no. but if this is some sort of grudge match for hopkins i'd rather the two of them just settle it amongst themselves to be honest. i don't want to see some fake drama build up about old scores needing to be settled with my favorite fighter just coming off a 1st round ko loss.

Hopkins will probably win easily, but it doesnt change
the fact that he ducked Danny Green to fight a done
    with RJJ.

Hopkins didnt want any part of Dawson or Green.

I wish Bernard would just retire and stop milking fans.

Hopkins will win by KO, If he doesn't then it is rigged.

I don't get why anybody would like to see him fight somebody like Danny Green anyway, when you can FINALLY see the long-awaited Jones-Hopkins rematch. I am very pleased that Hopkins took this course of action.

I don't think so either. Hopkin's credibility is now much less after signing to fight Jones.

It will mean nothing, but I'd say people will talk about it like it does.

Can't believe Roy is going for this, has he got money problems?

Not really.. just a good payday for Hops and something for historians to look at, so he can say he avenged his loss.
