    and also....

If this e-mail really exists, its authenticity will be questioned and Floyd will be compelled to prove this it is indeed authentic.
But if it really existed, the e-mail would have be public by now..especially since the fight is off.

Just goes to show the extend some people will go to taint Manny's character.

i dont buy that- or at least i hope Arum isn t that dumb. Even if Pac loses- he s guaranteed a rematch- or should have one in his contract surely.
that would be 2 100 million dollar fights. If Pac fights 10 more fights - against every other contender in the world they wont make that much money. Pacs fanbase is loyal and steady- not based on his wins and losses. a pac loss wouldnt hurt his ppv numbers that much- just as dela hoyas never saw a dip with all his losses. Arum knows Pacs bringing in the money no matter what. Hes 72 years old and has all the money he needs. I simply think its down to Arum being prideful and fickle- not stingy about the money- and scared of losing his cash cow.

His core fanbase is loyal and steady, but thats not what brings in the big bucks. In the last year he is just starting to be come a breakout star, recognizable to people who don't follow boxing.

A loss now would (re)establish Mayweather as the #1 fighter in the world in these people's minds, and would sap interest in one of Pac's fights against anybody but a rematch against Mayweather, a fight where Mayweather would hold all the negotiating cards.

Just look at how well things worked out for old Bob. He now has the P4P #1 fighter, matched up against another one of his fighters who, despite being a top fighter, couldn't sell any PPV numbers. If Pac destroys Clottey he just gets even bigger without the risk of Mayweather.

Doesn't seem like the negotiations falling through has been bad for Arum.

    True.

and that is because Bob has top welters in his stable than GBP. He could make a rematch of Cotto-Clottey, Margarito and Pac without worrying about Mayweather - and still make mad $$.

It's like baking your own bread rather than wait in the supermarket queue.

Hmm, ya thats true. But Floyd didn't come back, take on Pacquiao's rival, wait for Pacquaio to be available and then enter negotiations just so he could avoid the fight and then scramble to try to find a replacement.

If he hadn't wanted the Pacquiao then why didn't he line up another opponent after he defeated Marquez?

It just doesn't make any sense for Floyd to have ruined this fight on purpose. It does make good sense for Arum to have put off this fight.

My point is your whole myth, fact thing here is complete biased and therefore pretty much useless. Manny doesn't have to admit to anything, his suspicious actions/poor excuses speak for themselves. But hey, innocent till proven guilty.

Also, do you have any idea what EPO is and what it does? You do realize EPO was the same thing Mosley was getting away with right? What was the testing method used? Urine tests...

You should change the word "fact" in every spot in your msg and replace it with "opinion"

That could be a valid point but one could also say if the e-mail doesnt exist why isnt Pac pursuing a lawsuit against Tim Smith or Teddy Atlas.
