I keep hearing this arguement that Cotto only weighed 1 pound more in his last fight, that one pound doesn't make a difference. So Cotto weighed 146 against Clottey and if 1 pound doesn't make a difference, why not let him weight in at 147? 1 pound difference.

As much as i love pac as a fighter i find it hard to say he beat Cotto at Welter, Pac's only fight at welter was against the SMALLER Oscar....

    think a little

pacman was 139, cotto was 146. they came to an agreement that it was a fair fight which i agree fully with at 145

cotto was at his best physically, 1 pound doesnt make a difference. cotto lost 1 while pacquaio gained 5

only sad people who love cotto too much or hate pacquaio cant admit this

I guess you didn't read what i said "if 1 pound doesn't make a difference, why not let him weigh in at 147 instead of 146 like his last fight, 1 pound difference"

The answer i believe is quite obvious that the 1 pound does make a difference.

Using this logic, Pac vs Carl Froch @ 158 would be fair, pac adds 19 pounds, Froch loses 10?

Well the fight hasnt pushed through yet so Pac to Cotto is better than floyd's any ww .. lol

That itself already speaks volume compared to the amount of time Pacs been around that weight..

The difference in the mindset between Floyd and Manny is obvious. When their fight didn't pan out, Manny signs to fight the much avoided Clottey, and Mayweather considers fighting club fighter Matthew Hatton and feather fisted lightweight Mallinfaggi.
Floyd is afraid to fight Clottey, Cotto, Mosley or Williams, and was releaved when Pacquiao refused to bow to his unreasonable demands.
But as long as clowns insist on buying fights featuring Floyds ridiculous picks of opponents , he'll continue to fight lightweights and clubfighters.

well no, it seems you are getting desperate, considering the game between the fighters was only 7 pounds in weight class between pac and cot at the time then no the above would never happen as it isnt realistic as the weight is too far apart

you have to think a little

lol at the joyboys accusing pac of ducking floyd when it was known before the fight that pac is an "easy fight" for floyd and yet he made all this excessive demands because he is not so sure of himself anymore and wants to protect his "0" while his dad advised him not to fight pac. it's clear who among pac and floyd who has the welterophobia. :yep

ok floyd, you can fight campbell, m.hatton or malignaggi now, don't be shy and show your true color. :D
