Anyone see the news Katie Taylor was offered big bucks to go pro and approached by Britian to fight for them in 2012??

The Iaba should keep her sweet! she is our best chance for gold in 2012 and is the best sporting ambassador for Ireland out there

Very tidy performance. Johnny Nelson certainly has the horn for you anyway! Maybe we can get him to sign up to the fan club!

Lovely hooks to the body and you threw every single one like you meant it. Very polished indeed. I was particularly impressed by the way you finished each round with a flourish. Very eye catching and it'll serve you well if you keep doing when you face better opposition. Might just sway close rounds one way or the other.

the iaba are a joke i was at the intermediate c/ships before xmas and along with a few others left early couldn,t watch anymore long drawn out boring c/ships with woman boxing as well as the men i,ve no problem with woman boxing but they should have their own c/ships imo. now i hear their going to have woman and novice boxing involved in the national SENIOR c/ships its an insult to our senior boxers imo. there was also roumers they (iaba) are trying to split katie from her coaching team her dad and pat ryan :nono

He had a hard head anyway. You caught him with more than a couple of hurtful uppercuts that you could see he felt but fair play to the boy he didn't buckle. Too often you see young prospects put in against lads who fold as soon as they get hit a couple of decent shots. I always thought those kind of fights were a total waste of time so it was good to see you got a tough lad put in front of you. Anything you particularly want to work on after that? I saw something myself but I wouldn't be half as cheeky as to say what it is :good
