Floyd vs cintron won't HAPPEN either..

I don't doubt the mans skills,but in boxing its what have u done for me lately and truth be told mayweather hasn't really done nada lately,split decision with oscar ok,beat hatton who collazo made run back to 140lbs after their fight,just beat a blown up lightweight.

That is true to an extent....with Floyd you have got to find a challenge b/c you're right...his style is a nightmare for anyone.....but there ARE styles that cause Floyd problems and certian attributes that would be a nightmare for Floyd. Kermit doesn't have anything that would cause Floyd problems but power and size.

Paul's style is one that would cause Floyd many problems but also the natural physical advantages Paul has over every WW out there. Floyd could beat any WW if he faught "his" fight and didn't get baited in to a war. Paul and PAC are the only WW's that I see who have the style or attributes to really cause Floyd fits...who have an actual shot at beating him.

I agree that the Kermit fight is a good fight for Floyd. I don't really think it's a risky fight but at least it's against a very BIG and powerful WW which he's been critisized for avoiding. Citron is a good WW....he's just not the best, but who else is really out there for Floyd at this point. Shane is tied up, PAC has Josh on target, Cotto is recovering, Marg.....I don't know about Marg and if Floyd wants to fight him.....Paul....Floyd won't face him. He's made the best fight given his limited options.

 

i Think thats what Floyd will wana do. but i dont think he can avoid fighters anymore. This is the defining phase of his career, boxings on the up and the spotlights on no one more than him. He knows if he wants to be remembered as a true great he has to take on all comers.

Nah homie......FLoyd don't want it. All the talk that PAC can't fight, he's an easy foe, That Floyd will completely out class PAC....that's all bull ****. If he REALLY wanted the fight and felt PAC wasn't any challenge he wouldn't have came up with the rumors to plant the seed to kill the fight then when things got going ask for demands that have never been asked for in the history of the sport.....and lets say Floyd is right....and entertain his bogus accusations......PAC is easy...doesn't present a challenge...why not take the easy fight, get the cool $40 Mill and beat PAC who also had PEDs in his system and really secure a legacy for himself? Floyd don't want it bro...people can try to put this on PAC but Floyd's actions make it clear as day that he never wanted the fight.

 

I read something either this morning on here or last night that Paul and Floyd are both under Haymon and will not fight eachother unless it is really necessary. Do you know anything about that?

It didn't HAVE TO happen now. Imagine this scenario, Pac destroys Clottey and then runs for election and wins. In the meantime, Floyd beats Cintron and then Mosley and is now recognized as the top WW and the P4P #1 again. Then Pac comes back to fight him. You think it would've been huge in march?!? As long as neither of these guys lose in the meantime, it will just keep growing and growing and they will both make money before "one of them" has to lose to eachother
