For Floyd To Get Respect,I Think He Should Fight Paul Williams Or Kermit Cintron.

Williams said he can make 147, Floyd fought both at 147 and 154, worst case scenario catchweight of 150. No reason why Floyd cant fight Williams.

 

I think zab deserves respect he has really natural boxing abilities..he just loses composure easily

 

Williams is garbage. For a big name fighter he's the sloppiest, most uncoordinated fighter I've seen. Sure he has a punch but the dudes technique is awful

IMO Floyd would only get respect by fighting Williams,
which would be a tough fight for Floyd as Williams has
a hell of a reach and generally throws a lot of punches.

Floyd wouldnt lose respect fighting Bradley either, but
wouldnt gain as much as if he fought Williams.

 

A Cintron fight will show how PBF will react Vs. a strong puncher as far as engaging goes..
But on paper it looks like a mismatch if not for Kermit's power.

That said, make it happen. Always a chance crybaby could connect on Floyd?

 

Like I said, people are only accepting this fight because they are comparing it to his recent disappointing picks of opponent.

Legacy-wise, do you think that 10 years from now and when people bring up Floyd's greatness they will ever refer to a fight with the muppet? Cintron gets easily frustrated and doesn't hang tough when the tough gets going.

There are much better opponents out there for Floyd such as Mosley, Williams, Martinez, Pac....... But people doesn't expect much from Floyd when it comes to picking the quality his opponents so Cintron is one of the top picks that we assume how far Floyd is willing to risk his '0'.

Honestly I want to see Floyd fight a challenging opponent who have a decent chance to win. Praying on a lucky shot because we are so desperate just shouldn't be the case, this kind of support is what helps him continue his cherrypicking habbits. If people are still willing to pay to watch him fight minimum risk opponents, why in the world would he ever want to risk fighting a much harder opponent when the risk vs. reward is much better on fights like Marquez rather than Mosley?

I want to see Floyd in a GOOD FIGHT! I don't hate Floyd ability to box, I just hate how he pick his opponents. So in conclusion, Floyd versus a great fighters is AWESOME, Floyd versus a average-good fighter (or those turned into that level because of moving up in weight) sucks big time.

If you guys keep supporting him in second rated fights, don't expect him to ever fight the best.
